Sarah Palin, in her introduction to Americans as John McCain's running mate, struck back at news organizations and a "Washington elite" that have raised questions about her qualifications to be vice president.

Sarah Palin's speech was good; however, she never mentioned anything about the middle class, the poor who are hurting the most, and Health care. The only thing that she did talk about was herself and make personal attacks against Obama and Biden. Any six year old if they're trained well enough, can get out there and make personal attacks and tell lies against their opponent, but a speech needs to have substance and I didn't hear any in her speech. She also lied about the "Bridge To No where" in her state. Any mother can stand up and talk about being a mother and how they have juggled being a mother, wife, meanwhile hitting the pavement every day going to work. Palin acts as if she is the only mother who has ever done any of these things when in fact, many mothers have done this all of their lives. She never talked about the hurting economy and how George Bush has put this country in a mess. Also, yes, John McCain served in the military and was a POW, but she mentioned this many times and we've heard this again and again and again and again etc. There are many Americans who have served their country and were POW's, but they don't play this card each and every day of the week; neither does it make an individual qualified to be Commander and Chief. If this were the case, than every POW should come out in droves to run for President; as well as other Hockey moms or those who belong to the PTA. When she belittled Obama for being a community organizer, I felt that this was an insult to all organizers who have worked so hard to make sure that the less fortunate are well equipped to compete in the job market. If Palin wants to talk about experience; than let us talk about McCain who has never been a Mayor nor a Governor. As a matter of fact, I don't recall McCain ever organizing anything. Palin can get angry with the media for speaking out about her shady dealings, but this is her doing and a path she choose to take. When you make that choice to run for President or Vice, than your life is an open book. As the Obama campaign said "This is the same old Rhetoric we've been hearing for the last eight years". Republicans, could you please come up with your own plans instead of stealing someone else's?
